Privacy Policy

This website is operated from Switzerland and follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. Below is an overview of what data is processed when you visit this site.

Hosting. This website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Basel, Switzerland. The server automatically logs technical access data (IP address, date, time, browser) to operate the site securely. These logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Contact form. If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent by email to hello@luahell.com and used only to answer your request. The data is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising.

Cookies and consent. Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary runs until you allow it. The banner splits into four categories: strictly necessary (always on, covers security and your cookie choice), analytics, embedded media, and marketing. You can accept all, reject all, or pick individually, and change your mind at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser with a timestamp and expires after twelve months, after which you are asked again.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it is treated as a binding opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information. Marketing stays switched off and cannot be enabled while the signal is active. You can also opt out manually through "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer.

Analytics. Only with your consent, this site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are processed in shortened form. Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage switched off until you agree. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.

Payments and digital products. Purchases are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). When you buy, Stripe receives the data needed for the payment, including your email address, billing country and card details. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach this website. This site stores only what is needed to deliver the product and answer support requests: your email address, which product you bought, the amount, the Stripe reference and how often the download was used. Downloads are logged in shortened form for abuse prevention. Stripe's privacy policy applies in addition to this one.

Purchase emails. After a purchase you receive one transactional email with your access link, sent from the mail server of the hosting provider named above. Buying does not subscribe you to any newsletter, and no marketing email is sent without separate consent.

Embedded content. Project pages embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the About page a podcast player from Spotify (Spotify AB). These players do not load on their own. You either allow embedded media in the cookie settings, or load a single player with one click on the placeholder. Until then no request reaches Google or Spotify and neither receives your IP address. YouTube is embedded in no-cookie mode.

Your rights. You can request information about, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, object to processing, and request a copy of your data. Residents of the EU/EEA and the UK have these rights under the GDPR, residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states under their respective state privacy laws. Contact: hello@luahell.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Terms for Digital Products

These terms apply to the digital products sold on this website. They are written to be readable rather than exhaustive. If something is unclear, write to hello@luahell.com before buying.

Seller. Lua Hell, 5000 Aarau, Switzerland. Prices are shown on the product page in the stated currency and include no further charges from my side. Any tax or customs treatment in your own country is yours to handle.

Delivery. The products are digital downloads. There is no physical shipment. After the payment is confirmed by Stripe you get an email with a personal access link. From that page you can start the download whenever you need it. Each download link is generated fresh and stays valid for a short time only; that is a security measure, not a limit on your access.

Licence. You buy a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files, including in your own commercial client work. Copyright stays with Lua Hell. You may not resell, redistribute, share, publish, bundle or upload the files, and you may not pass on your access link. Reselling the files as your own product is not permitted.

Refunds. Because the product is delivered digitally and immediately, there is no automatic right of withdrawal under Swiss law once the download has been made available. If a file is broken, incomplete or does not work as described, write to me and I will fix it or refund you. That is a promise, not a legal formality.

Updates and support. Improvements to a product you own are free; you use the same access link. Support runs by email at hello@luahell.com. Software from third parties (for example DaVinci Resolve or Lightroom) is not part of the purchase, and system requirements stated on the product page apply.

Applicable law. Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Aarau, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence say otherwise.
